To ensure an efficient and effective review process, reviewers are requested to:

  • Respond promptly to review invitations based on their understanding and interest in the manuscript title and abstract.
  • Suggest alternative reviewers should they need to decline the invitation, ensuring that the manuscript still gets an expert perspective.
  • Request an extension, if necessary, to ensure a comprehensive review report.

Reviewers' Overall Recommendation

In addition to reviewers' comments on the manuscript, reviewers shall be expected to select an overall recommendation on the manuscript reviewers form.

Accept with minor revisions: The manuscript shows potential but requires minor polishing to enhance clarity and context. Authors are encouraged to address these revisions diligently, using reviewer comments as guidance.
Manuscript Considered after major revisions: Significant revisions are necessary for publication if the manuscript findings are sound. The author must address all the reviewer's comments carefully and provide a detailed response using the author's rebuttal form.
Revise and resubmit: In cases where a manuscript shows potential but requires substantial changes, this decision will be given. Once the authors have made the required changes, the manuscript will be reassessed in another round of scientific review.
Reject the manuscript: A total rejection will be advised for manuscripts with considerable scientific faults, lack of original contribution, and other reasons. In such circumstances, the manuscript will not be reconsidered for publication, regardless of the revisions made.
